Ernestine Potter
Ernestine (Tina) Rhodes Potter, 91, passed away on August 22, 2017 in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.
She was born in Graysville, on Aug. 15, 1926, to Ernest W. Rhodes and Clara Pitts Rhodes Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Robert Lee Puckett, sister Nell (Runt) Rhodes Vess, brother Larry Damon Rhodes and husbands, Billy Puckett, Ed (Bud) Sledge, Paul Potter, and Carlyle Peterson.
She is survived by granddaughter, Stacey Puckett Wilcox of Ashburn, Va., grandson, Don Puckett, great-grandson, Drake Puckett, great-granddaughter, Brittany Puckett all of Spokane, Wa., sister, Wanda Rhodes (Bryan) McAllister, Ringgold, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 26, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Don Self and Chaplain Ray Mabe officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
Interment will be private in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. on Saturday, at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.
