Larry (Blue) Watkins, 69, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018, at a local hospital.
He graduated from Riverside High School Class of 1969. He attended Chattanooga State Community College, and later served in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, June and Annie Mae Watkins; sisters, Shirley Ann Bridges, and Sandra Watkins; brother, Elmer Young.
Survivors include his son, Antwon Broom, and brother, Darol Watkins.
The body will lie in state after noon on Sunday, Oct. 21, and the family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 22, at Olivet Baptist Church. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
