Phil Bredeson And His Party's Chaotic Border Policy - And Response

Saturday, October 20, 2018

Phil Bredesen wants to separate himself from some of the more controversial points of view that his party, Chuck Schumer’s party, the Democrat party, embraces. The Democrat party has gotten more and more left-wing on immigration, just as a caravan of illegal aliens are winding their way up from Honduras through Mexico. His party embraces the elimination of ICE agents, more sanctuary cities, voting privileges for non-citizens,not prosecuting those who come here illegally.

Basically, Phil Bredesen, Chuck Schumer and the Democrat party stand for open borders and total chaos in our immigration policy. They are more concerned about those people who are not yet citizens than the rights of those very citizens that elected them.

For Democrats, these illegals represent future voters for the Democrat party. It is unconscionable that these Democrats should get back power to implement such harmful policies to our country.

A vote for Phil Bredesen is a vote for these very policies. Marsha Blackburn, as a Republican, will continue to protect the border. She will craft policies that will allow reasonable immigration laws. She will protect the integrity of our borders and empower our border agents to protect this country.

We have a Republican White House, a Republican Senate and a Republican House. So, where is the Republican immigration policy? Even with controlling majorities the Republicans can’t come to an agreement on immigration or other issues in important to us.

Rhetoric about Democrats wanting “open borders” and “high crime” is ridiculous and patently false. These are just buzz words and dog whistles to stir and fire up Trump’s base and gin up votes for Trump wannabes such as Marsha Blackburn. Blackburn has no viable plan on immigration policy nor does she have any workable and affordable plan for health care other than supporting the pharmaceutical and insurance companies at Tennessean’s expense.

Don’t let Republican scare tactics and propaganda keep you from voting and choosing who is the better candidate to serve Tennesseans. That would be Phil Bredesen.
