John Miller
John Henry Miller Jr., 67, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on October 19, 2018.
He was born on April 3, 1951, to the late John Henry Miller, Sr. and Roberta Dunn Miller. He was a lifelong resident of this area and of the Christian faith. He loved the Lord with all his heart. John enjoyed playing guitar and spending time with his family at the beach and in the mountains.
In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Clark and two brothers, Ralph Howard and Frank Howard.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 46 years, Linda Miller; daughter, Angie McCoy; grandchildren, Amber Smitty, Marissa McCoy, and Mark McCoy; sisters, Rebecca Green and JoAnn Bryson; brothers-in-law, Gary McAmis, Kenny McAmis (Twyla), and David McAmis; sister-in-law, Marilyn Huskins (Terry). In addition to these, he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Companion Funeral Home at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, Tn. 37311.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 25, in the Dixon Chapel of North Cleveland Church of God with Reverend Mitch Maloney officiating. Interment will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
