David Wellington
David Glenn Wellington, 58, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, in a local hospital.
He attended Brainerd High School, where he was an outstanding basketball player.
His brothers, Lester Wellington, Jr. and Gary Wellington preceded him in death.
Survivors include his father, Lester Wellington, Sr.; mother, Inora Wellington; brothers, Michael (Lillian) Holmes of Columbia, MD, Steve Wellington, and Bruce Wellington; sister, Janice Hammonds, all of Chattanooga; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Visitation is on Saturday, Nov. 3, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Minister Fredrick Norman as the eulogist. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
