Soddy-Daisy & Montlake Historical Association announces an Old Fashioned Trunk Or Treat event and fall celebration at Good Old Days Museum, 11298 Wall St. in Soddy-Daisy, on Friday from 3-8 p.m.
"We’ve extended our museum hours on Friday for this special event that honors small town living and holidays past," officials said. "Drop by in your costume for candy and treats provided in trunks, baskets and barrels - like they used to do in an old fashioned general store. SDMHA volunteers will be on hand for fun, with displays, a bake sale, games for the kids and even a Pirates boat."
Ghost Tales and Mystery stories as tours will be held inside the museum. Ghost/Mystery Tours begin at 5 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., Best Historical Character and Best Costume Contests will be held. Prizes will be awarded for adults and children.
Directions: Take Dayton Pike/US-27 - take Depot St. or Durham St. west to Wall St., and near the RR tracks, in the Old Soddy Bank Building
