The Prudhomme Fort Chapter, Colonial Dames 17th Century, presented a collection of historical records to the Chattanooga Hamilton County Bicentennial Library, entitled: “Researching your Colonial New England Ancestors” by Patricia Law Hatcher. The book is a memorial gift in
remembrance of Faye Douthit Williams, past registrar.

The book’s collections with references for research also include recent records published. Lineage research can be challenging; however, this new reference will be a valuable aid for those seeking information on their family history, whether for personal knowledge or membership in Colonial Dames 17th Century, said officials.

Prudhomme Fort Chapter is active locally and nationally.  For more information, please call 842-7774.
