Gregory Beaver
Southern Adventist University’s Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Laurie Minner, invites the public to a performance titled “All-Russian Concert.” Featuring guest soloist Gregory Beaver, a renowned cellist, the event will be on Sunday, Nov. 11, at 7:30 p.m. in the Collegedale Church of Seventh-day Adventists.
For the last 18 years, Mr. Beaver has been cellist for the Chiara String Quartet. A resident of Lincoln, Ne., he has performed more than 500 concerts on three continents, garnered a Grammy nomination, premiered 40 works, and recorded seven major albums.
This event is free and open to the public. The concert will be held at 4829 College Dr. East in Collegedale.
