James English
James Augusta English, 93, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018, in a local health care facility.
He retired from Ross Meehan Foundry and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille English; brother, Robert Wallace; sister, Minnie (Berry) Bailey; daughter, Gwendolyn (Charles) Roberson.
Survivors include his sister, Fannie (Eddie) Williams of Michigan; granddaughter, Debra (Harold) Freeman; grandson, Derrick (LaTonya) Roberson; great-grandchildren, Anthony Shaqualm McCoy and Derrick Roberson, Jr. all of Chattanooga; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He will lie in state on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
