The Rotary Club of Chattanooga Hamilton Place hosted featured speaker Joe Dana as club members paid their respects and honored Rotary Club members and guests who are veterans.

Mr. Dana was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States in 1954.  He graduated from the University of Georgia and Georgia Law School.  His parents were living and working in the Philippines as civilians (when it was still a US Territory) at the time WW II broke out, Japan took control and they eventually became prisoners of war.  Mr.

Dana's presentation chronicled the sacrifices his parents made, along with other military prisoners, during that period of time.
