James Winford Riddle, 84, of Ringgold, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2018 at his home. He retired in 1976 as a master SGT in the U.S. Air Force and retired from TVA in 1991. Mr. Riddle also had worked with Dalton Utilities and enjoyed farming, and was in the Guinness Book of World Records for having a cow that gave birth to quadruplet calves.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Alma Riddle; his first wife, Becky; brother, Lawrence Riddle; and sister, Aline Pierce.
Survivors include his loving wife, Wilma Ann Self Riddle; daughters, Angie (Kenny) Aiola, Marietta and Lisa (Brad) Crane, of Ringgold; and grandchildren, Drew Harris, Josh Harris and Brandon Crane.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Anderson Memorial Gardens.
