Dr. Christopher D. Hulsey, 50, of Ringgold, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, November 9, 2018. He was a life-long resident of the North Georgia area and pastor at Bethel Baptist Church on Cove Road in Chickamauga. He also pastored at Center Grove Baptist Church and had served as interim for many area churches.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph “Buster” and Jeanette Hulsey.
His life long passion was serving his Lord and preaching God's Word so that others would come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Survivors include his loving wife of 29 years, Laura Swafford Hulsey; daughter, Allison Hulsey; son, Seth Hulsey; grandpuppers, Bandit and Bear; and Matt Lamb, a special family friend.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Oakwood Baptist Church, with Rev. Scott Simmons officiating. A private interment will take place at a later time.
