Peeler, Elva Bell Hewett (Cleveland)

Elva Bell Hewett Peeler, 100, of Georgia and a former resident of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018, in a Griffin, Georgia health care facility.

She retired from the Church of God Publishing House where she worked for over 50 years.  Elva was a member of North Cleveland Church of God.  She enjoyed yard work and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Senters of Graysville; her nephew who was like a son, Otis (Patricia) Miller of Cleveland; step children, Debbie Price (Ramona Driscoll) and Lewis “Skip” (Henry Sequin) Peeler, all of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Anitra (Andy) Murphy of Senoia, GA; step grandchildren, Virgil Price II and Michelle Thomas, both of Indianapolis, IN; great grandchildren, Erika Nagel and Steve Nagel of Sharpsburg, GA and David Partain of Atlanta, GA; step great grandchildren, Brian Thomas, McKenzie Thomas, Virgil Price III and Angie Price, all of Indianapolis, IN and Adrianna Murphy and Andrew Murphy, both of Senoia, GA; great great grandchildren, Emma Nagel, Kaitlyn Nagel, Dylan Nagel, Alexander Nagel, Steven Nagel and Jaiden Lindsey; sister, Mary Lee Mears of Maryland; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, at New Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
