Millard, Jimmie Louise Matthews (Birchwood)

Jimmie Louise Matthews Millard, 82, of Birchwood passed away, in a local healthcare facility.  She was a lifelong resident of Rhea County.  She loved cooking and gardening.  She was a member of Burdette Baptist Church.

She was proceeded in death by parents Tom and Tennessee Wright Matthews; son James Millard; sisters Carolyn Pierce, Bobbie McKinney, and Drew Pendergrass; brother Jess Matthews.

She is survived by her children Danny (Elizabeth) Millard, and Charles (Robin) Millard; grandchildren David Millard, Lisa Edwards, Kristy Overholt, Tonya Tarkwell, Travis Millard, Troy Millard, and Jamie Millard;  ten great grandchildren; sister Evelyn Millsaps of Decatur; several nieces and nephews also survive.

There will be no services at this time.
