Doris June O’Neil, 90, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018, in Chattanooga.
She was born on June 1, 1928, in Trenton, Ga. She was a lifelong resident of Hixson. She was a loving homemaker who enjoyed gardening and crafts, she was a dedicated member of Hixson First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Macklin Reeves, parents, John and Odessa Reeves, and nephew, John Frost.
She is survived by her husband, Durward (D. K) O’Neil, of Hixson; son, David O’Neil, of Hixson, and sister, Louise Frost of East Ridge.
Visitation will be at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace from 6:30–8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18, and 2-4 p.m. on Monday. Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 4 p.m. with Dr. Steven Granger and Terry Shannon officiating.
Burial will be at National Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20.
