Annie “Ann” Bell Farmer, age 63, of LaFayette passed away Monday, November 19, 2018.

Ann started her working career for Salem Carpet where she met the love of her life Raymond Farmer Sr. She later worked several years for NHC in Fort Oglethorpe as a CNA. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and proud grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Tim Whittemore; grandson, Wesley Campbell; parents, Joseph Barfield and Nellie Pence Barfield; and sister, Martha Jane Edwins.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Raymond Farmer Sr.; daughter, Brenda Clark; stepdaughter, Tanya Hale; sons, Raymond Jr. (Kari) Farmer and Chris Whittemore; eight grandchildren; sisters, Pauline (Sam) Hogue and Nellie Ann (Eddie) Bugg; brothers, Sonny (Esther) Barfield, Randy (Geneva) Barfield, Larry (Karen) Barfield, and Ricky Barfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21, at Anderson Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jimmy McClure officiating. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
