Donald Brown
Donald Joe Brown, 84, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on November 18, 2018.
He was a local businessman and owner of Brown’s Country Store until his retirement in 2001. He was an avid Vols fan and vegetable gardener that loved his family dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, W.L. and Opal Beeler.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sue Brown; sister, Sue Ann (Carl) Smith, Melinda (Randall) Morton; sister-in-law, Cindy Beeler, sons; Rusty Brown (Cindy Green), Paul Brown (Sunny Cash), Joel (Adrienne) Brown; eight grandchildren, Tucker (Selena) Brown, Kristin (Kel) Stansell, Cassie (Scott) Hill, Peyton Coe, Kaley Brown and Kennedy, Sydney, Corvin and Aly Brown; five great-grandchildren, and special friends, Mr. and Mrs. Jr. Wilson, Donnie and Maxie Jones, James Murphy and Clifford Swafford.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Nov. 24, from 5-6 p.m. with the service to follow in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home.
