The Rotary Club of Chattanooga Hamilton Place participated in a tour of the Coca-Cola Bottling Company plant located on Shepherd Road.

The plant showcases the history of the world's first Coca-Cola bottler and a division of Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED, Inc.

Mr. Darren Hodges addressed the Rotary Club outlining the history of Coke as well as their commitment to their consumers and retail partners, various products and areas of distribution.

Chattanooga was the location of the world's first bottler of Coca-Cola.

"Coke is dedicated to serving our community and participates annually in multiple local golf tournament fund raisers with either products offered or a financial sponsorship," officials said.
