Richard Harris
Richard (Catfish) T. Harris of Ooltewah, Tennessee, went to his rest on November 19, 2018.
He was born on September 1, 1926 in Decatur, Tn. He was a faithful member of East Brainerd Church of Christ. He was retired from Dupont and a World War II veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and his beloved grandson, Richard Hughes. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Margaret Langston Harris, two daughters, Wanda (Randall) Hughes, Lynda (J.R.) Kilgore and one granddaughter, two grandsons, six great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sister, Dorothy Holdiman.
Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 26, in the funeral home chapel with Minister John Cupp officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors. Family will receive friends on Monday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
