Helen Thurman Griffith, 75, of Whitwell, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel D. Griffith; first husband, Clarence Eugene Brooks; mother, Betty Margie Thurman; and brother, Lesley James.
Those left to cherish her memories are three children, Betty Derington, of Cleveland, Pam Duckworth, of Sweetwater and Mickey Pressnell, of East Brainerd; sister, Brenda Gamble, of Chickamauga; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Central time on Wednesday, Nov. 21 with the funeral to follow at 1 p.m. Central time in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. James Helton officiating. Interment at Layne’s Chapel Cemetery.
