Allen, Gayle S.

Gayle S. Allen, 86, a resident of Thrive at Browwood, Lookout Mountain, died peacefully at home on Sunday, November 18, 2018.

Gayle is survived by three sons, Jeffrey, Michael and Eric Kramer; her daughter-in-law, Meg Kramer; four grandchildren, Sarah Kovack, Elizabeth, Thomas and Kara Kramer; and two great grandchildren, Levi and Lucy Kovack. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Mabel Stepp; her brother, Gary Stepp; her first husband, Blair R. Kramer; and second husband, James M. Allen.

A native of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Allen was a longtime resident of Powell, Oh. where she worked with her husband, Jim, for the John H. Evans Company. An avid traveler, she visited Europe, the U.K. and Russia, and traveled extensively across the U.S. She cherished many close friends from her years in western Pennsylvania, Ohio and, more recently, on Lookout Mountain.

Mrs. Allen’s ashes will be interned at Bush Run Cemetery in Peters Township, Pa.
