A man was shot Wednesday afternoon on Snow Hill Road.
At approximately 1:30 p.m., Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 9700 block of Snow Hill Road for the report of a person shot. Deputies found that a man had sustained a gunshot wound to the foot. According to him, he was cleaning a firearm when it discharged hitting his foot.
At this point all evidence is leading detectives to believe this was an accidental shooting.
The man was transported to a local hospital for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
