Heartwise Ministries will be releasing the new worship app, Biblical Prescriptions, Dec. 7-8. This app will be available in the App store as well as on Android devices.
"Worship and health are intimately related and the new app is designed to improve health through worship," said Dr. Marcum, speaker/director of Heartwise Ministries.
To kick-off the event and raise awareness of the apps availability, Michael Card will be in concert at Concord Baptist Church on Dec. 7 and Denver and the Mile High Orchestra will follow with a concert on Dec. 8 at City Church. Heartwise wants to give a gift of worship on these two nights and then offer an app for a continuing worship experience.
"This app has the ability for everyone to easily participate in health changing worship anywhere at anytime," said John Wagoner, app technical consultant. The daily ten-minute worship includes a warm up, prayer, text, reflection, and prayer of praise and thanksgiving.
:Once the brain is engaged in worship, physiology changes," said Dr. Marcum.
"Many people worldwide are using mobile devices as their source of information and communication," said Nick Evenson, production manager at Heartwise Ministries. "We are hoping this worship/health app will be an innovative tool to spread the gospel."
