Dalton State's Fraire Gets Second Defensive Player Of The Week Honor

Victor Pimentel of Mobile (Ala.) was named SSAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Samuel Fraire of Dalton State (Ga.) was named SSAC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday. The awards are based on performance for the week of Oct. 29 – Nov. 4.

Victor Pimentel (Mobile – SR – MID – West Palm Beach, Fla.)

- This is his second-straight award
- Pimentel tallied the game-winner in a 2-0 win at Martin Methodist to send the Rams to the semifinals of the 2018 SSAC Men's Soccer Championship
- On the season, he has 10 goals and six assists to lead the Rams with 26 points

Samuel Fraire (Dalton State – SO – GK – Dalton, Ga.)

- This is his second honor of the season
- He stood tall in the quarterfinals with four saves in a scoreless tie v. No. 3 Florida College and then stopped a PK in a shootout to send Dalton State to the next round
- On the year, he has 64 saves
