Evonne Jett
Evonne Patricia Jett, 61, born May 10, 1957, of Cleveland, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at her home.
She was a loving wife and Mamaw. She spent her life volunteering with boy scouts, school and church events. She also spent most of her life being a nurse and caring for people.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ricky Jett Sr., father, Edward Garren, sister, Sharon Garren and niece, Devonna Goniea.
She is survived by her mother, Evangeline Garren, sons, James “Ricky” Jett Jr. (Heather), Jonathan Jett and Samuel Jett (Amanda), granddaughters, Savannah, Adaline and Charlotte, brother, Eddie Garren, sister, Charlotte Burgner (Dan), sister-in-law, Fonda White (David), several nieces and nephews and numerous other extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Nov. 9, from 5-7 p.m. at the Clingan Ridge Baptist Church, at 2412 Georgetown Road in Cleveland. A celebration of her life will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Gary Moats officiating.
The interment and committal service will take place on Sunday, Nov. 11, at 2 p.m. in the Mountain View Cemetery in Jefferson City, Tn.
