Dalton State's Matthew Cleary Named SSAC Men's Golfer Of The Week

Matthew Cleary of Dalton State (Ga.) was named SSAC Men's Golfer of the Week and Papatsara Niamrungrueang of William Carey (Miss.) was named SSAC Women's Golfer of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday. The awards are based on performance for the week of Oct. 29 – Nov. 4.

Matthew Cleary (Dalton State – SO – Dalton, Ga.)

- He is the third-straight Roadrunner to win the award
- Cleary won the individual title at the SSAC Fall Preview with a four-under 140 (71, 69)
- He also led the Roadrunners to a team victory

Papatsara Niamrungrueang (William Carey – FR – Pathom, Thailand)

- This is her second honor of the season
- The freshman won the individual title at the SSAC Fall Preview with a one-over 145 (70, 75)
- She won by seven strokes, picking up her second win of the fall season
