Carolyn Theresa Covington
Carolyn Theresa Covington, age 67, of Summerville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
She was born on March 8, 1951 to the late Alfred and Edith Reese Price. She was a member of Second Baptist Church and was last employed by the Senior Citizens Center.
She is survived by her son, Myles Covington; daughter, Tracey M. (Tony) Rupert; one grandson, Marques Covington, all of Summerville, Ga.; sisters, Ann Scott, Juliette Echols, Brenda (Clarence) Lawrence, Gail Price, and Toni (Cameron) Christopher; brother, John A. (Angela) Price; aunts, Sybil Stallings, Bonnie Spivey, Zola Johnson, Janie Harris, and Dale Penn; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
A homegoing service will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, at 1 p.m. at Second Baptist Church, 65 Church St., Summerville, Ga., with Pastor Timothy Williamson and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service.
