The Economy In The 21st Century

  • Tuesday, November 6, 2018

Was taking my walk through Hamilton Place the other day and ran head on into the realities of the 21st century economy. At the end of the mall Sears had their going out of business signs plastered all over the entrance. Next door was the vacated Hallmark store that closed in the summer.

However the former Hallmark store was bustling with activity as the Cheesecake Factory Restaurant employees were busily interviewing prospective workers for their grand opening set for Dec. 4. My understanding is they plan to hire 270 employees to staff their restaurant. Guess that's life in 2018.
