Incumbent City Court Clerk Patricia Cassidy won over challenger Wayne Thompson.
Mayor-Elect Williams said, "I am so honored to have your overwhelming support and confidence as your next Mayor.
I want to thank everyone that voted for me as well as contributed and supported me throughout my campaign. I want to congratulate Jacky Cagle and Mike Chauncey on their wins for city council. I want to also thank every candidate for their willingness and offering their service to our city. It was a pleasure to meet the new candidates and spending time getting to know all the candidates better.
"I personally would like to thank Jim Bethune for his willingness to serve our city and running a good campaign.
"I am excited to begin working with the new council to continue to move our great city forward. I am looking forward to what we can do in the next four years."
