Georgia Harris
Georgia Annie Harris, 103, of Lytle, Georgia, and Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 5, 2018, at NHC Chattanooga.
She was born on Dec. 13, 1914, to the late Luther and Willie Mae Moon. She was married to the late Grant Harris, Sr.
She is the mother of Reverend Grant (Rebecca) Harris, Jr., Chattanooga, and the late Hannah Ruth (Willie) Swint, Rossville. Georgia leaves to cherish her memory her loving son, eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 20 great-great-grandchildren, four great-great-great-grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The body will lie in state beginning at noon on Friday, Nov. 9. Family visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
The funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday, Nov. 10, at Second Missionary Baptist Church, 2305 E. 3rd Street, Chattanooga, Tn. 37404 with Reverend Paul A. McDaniel officiating.
