Winter Writers Workshop Announced For Jan. 26

The Chattanooga Writers’ Guild announce their second Winter Writers Workshop to be held at Chattanooga State Technical Community College on Saturday Jan. 26, 2019 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

The event will have craft lectures and writing workshops in the poetry, fiction and literary nonfiction by celebrated workshop leaders, as well as additional award-winning Guild writers.

Police said a man with three prior DUIs and a revoked license was speeding on Rossville Boulevard early Saturday morning while driving in the wrong direction. Bradley County Inmate Keith McGill Escapes During Hospital Visit

A Bradley County Justice Center inmate who was transported by corrections officers to Tennova Healthcare on Chambliss Avenue, in Cleveland for medical treatment has escaped.
