Shaheed Khan
Shaheed Rahamut Khan, 71, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on November 7, 2018.
He was born on March 3, 1947, to the late Rahamut and Shyra Khan. Shaheed has lived in the Cleveland area for the past 30 years. He was a true family man and was a very hard worker, working at the local hospital for 29 years. He enjoyed cooking and entertaining friends. Shaheed never met a stranger. In previous years, he enjoyed playing sports and was the Windball Cricket Captain of the Mary Boys Club in Dow Village, Ca. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his mother and father, Shaheed was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Khan.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 54 years, Norma Khan; son, Clyde Khan (Beverly); daughter Sharon Khan Clark (Stan); brothers: David Rahamut (Val), Rasheed Khan (Samdaye), Rafeek Rahamut (Tyroon), Sheriff Khan (Patsy), Dale Khan (Jenelle), and Rogers Rahamut; sisters: Zorida Ali, Zaleka Ramsumair (Mandrekha), and Zelina Mohammed (Rasheed); grandchildren: Miguel Khan, Dillon Clark, Morgan Khan, Megan Khan, and Conner Clark. In addition to these, Shaheed leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 12-4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, at Mt. Olive Church of God. A celebration of life service will be held at 4 p.m. at the church.
