Benny Edward Lee, 83, Ringgold, passed away on November 8, 2018, in a local hospital.

Born in Coalman, Al., Benny had lived in Ringgold for the past 16 years.

Benny retired after over 20 years of service from the Civil Service Air National Guard and he attended East Chattanooga Church of God (Redemption Point Church)

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel B.  Lee.

Survivors are his children, Reggie (David) Smith, Bradenton, Fl., Dennis Lee, Dallas, Ga., Wanda (Mickey) Black, Statesboro, Ga., David Lee, Coppell Tx., Sheila (Wayne) Snodgrass, House Springs, Mo., and Michael (Tonya) Lee, Ringgold; grandchildren, Kristen, Melissa, Elizabeth, Sarah, Rebecca, Abby, Anthony, Hunter, Colby, Bryson L., Madison L., Benny L. and Carlos; eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Nov. 11, at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Travis Ballinger officiating. Burial will be on Monday, Nov. 12, at 11 a.m. at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
