Lee's Collaborative Piano Ensemble To Present Recital Thursday

  • Friday, November 9, 2018

Lee University’s Collaborative Piano Ensemble will present a showcase, titled “Liederabend” (“song recital”), on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in Squires Recital Hall.

In this showcase, three student pianists and five student singers will perform diverse vocal repertoires from art songs to operatic arias by German, Italian, French, Spanish and American composers.

Lee students Chiaoyu Lin, Emma Motok, and Lawrence Wong will perform on the piano, while Taylor Cooper, Gabrielle Flannery, Caitlin Overton, Esteban Salazar, and Monica Wright will sing.

Collaborative Piano Ensemble is a newly founded Lee School of Music ensemble, and it aims to promote young pianists to explore the collaborative piano arts, a field that has been largely expanded and has experienced a high degree of specialization.

This event is free and open to the public.

For more information, contact the School of Music at 614-8240.
