William Reece Pickett, 70, of Chattanooga, passed away on November 30, 2018, surrounded by his family. 

He was a professional electrical engineer and co-owner of Pickett, Tarpley & Associates.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Reece Pickett and Jean Pickett.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Kathryn Pickett; three children: daughter, Michelle Davis, daughter, Melissa Black and son, Ryan (Laura) Pickett; nine grandchildren, Gregory Pickett, Brittany Nelson, Kaitlyn Pickett (John Fly), Gabbye Nelson, Alisa Pickett, Ethan Black, Emma Black, Nathan Pickett and Kaine Black; two great-grandchildren, Jackson Nelson and Jace Nelson; aunt, Norma Grey, cousins, and one grandpup, Onyx.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 3, in the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home with Minister Steve Lusk officiating.

His family will receive friends from 4–6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2, and from 5–6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 3, at the funeral home prior to the service.
