Arthur Alexander Hicks, 84, of Ringgold, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 8, 2018. He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga, North Georgia area and was a member of the Baylor Alumni Class of 1953. Mr. Hicks was a member of the "life of good living and a whole lot of fun." His smile and laughter would light up the room. He cared for others more than himself and loved his wife, kids, grandkids and granddogs more than life itself.
He was retired from Kroger in Dalton after more than 20 years of service.
Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Pat Hicks; sons, Steve Bagley and John (Genna) Bagley; daughter, Misty Hodge; grandchildren, Bayley Hodge, Remy Pastuch, Jacob Bagley, Jade Bagley and Allika Bagley; great-grandchild, Jace Bagley; and granddogs.
A Celebration of Arthur's Life will take place from 4-8 p.m. on Monday at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Oglethorpe, and the family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
