Couple Arrested Trying To Load $4,789 In Stolen Loot From Home Depot Near Hamilton Place

A couple was arrested trying to load $4,789 in stolen items behind the Home Depot near Hamilton Place.

Charged was Chad Mendes, 28, and Kimkeisha Jackson, 24.

Police said Mendes punched a loss prevention officer, then repeatedly fought with police who quickly arrived on the scene.

Officers said they had to twice use pepper spray on Mendes as he refused to get into a patrol car, then rolled out of the other side of the vehicle once he was inside. 

Police said Ms.

Jackson drove a white SUV behind the building as Mendes emerged with the items.
