Martha Kathleen Peterson, 89, of LaFayette, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018.

She was a member of LaFayette Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Eugene Peterson; brothers, Taylor Bandy and Frank (Faye Nell) Bandy.

She is survived by her daughter, Trish (Jerry) McNabb of LaFayette; son, Jeff Peterson of LaFayette; grandchildren, Scott McNabb, Wesley Peterson, Alexandra Massingill, and Thomas Peterson; great-grandchildren, Ryan Butner, Victoria McNabb, Blakely Lankford, Paige McNabb, Peyton Lankford, Alli Peterson, Emily Peterson, Riley Peterson, Jayden Peace, Tyler Massingill, Megan Peterson, and Bristol Peterson; great-great grandchildren, Jack Lee, Alice Butner, Vianna Butner, and Ryker Butner; and sister-in-law, Lula Bandy.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Dr. Jerry McNabb, Pastor Josh Edwards, and Reverend David Autry officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service starting at 12 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers are Scott McNabb, Wesley Peterson, Alexandra Massingill, Mark Massingill, Thomas Peterson, and Victoria McNabb.

Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
