Imogene White, age 80, of White Oak Road, Summerville, Georgia, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018, at her residence.
She was born in Trion, Ga. on May 25, 1938 to the late Clyde and Lillian Elrod Cochran.
Mrs. White was a member of the Church of God, was retired from the card room of Riegel Textile Corporation.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Robert “Doc” White, on May 24, 2011; sister, Maxine Fletcher; and grandson, Aaron Dooley.
Surviving are daughters, Robbie Baker Dooley and Becky White Humphrey; son, Orville Robert White, Jr.; six grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 13, at 1 p.m. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Keylon and Pastor Danny Harkins officiating. Interment will be in Summerville Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Nicholus Dooley, Jason Baker, Trey Foster, Jamie Mitchell, Shannon Hallard, and Harold Hughes.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Dec. 12, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
