Man, 33, Shot On Mitchell Avenue Tuesday Morning

A man, 33, was shot on Mitchell Avenue Tuesday morning.
 
At approximately 11:14 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a person shot in the 1700 block of Mitchell Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located the victim suffering from a non life-threatening gunshot wound.
 
Hamilton County EMS responded and transported the victim to a local hospital.
 
CPD Major Crimes Unit responded to conduct further investigation.
 
This incident is being actively investigated. Anyone with information is asked to call the Chattanooga Police at 423-698-2525. You can remain anonymous.
