Marshall Dewayne “Wayne” Mosley, 58, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 7, 2018.
He was born on Dec. 13, 1959, in Chattanooga.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Valencia Mosley and his mother, Ruby L. (Odum) Mosley.
Wayne was educated in the Chattanooga Public School System; where he played varsity football and graduated from Chattanooga City High School - Class of 1977. Upon graduation from high school, Wayne continued his studies at Knoxville College and University of Tennessee- Chattanooga.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Venetia Mosley (Oringen) Colebrook, three grandchildren, Syncere Steward, Heavyn and Oringen Colebrook, all of Atlanta; father, Lee Mosley, Jr., Chattanooga; one brother, Corey (Maiya) Mosley, three sisters, Yolanda (Ed) Wynn, Serena (Tidaro) Dunlap and Karitsa (William) Jones, Chattanooga; uncle, Reginald Mosley; and a host of many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
The body will lie in state after noon and family visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 13, from 7–8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 14, in the chapel. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
