Local Cooling And Heating Company Joins National Brand

  • Thursday, December 13, 2018

Locally-owned and operated Southeast Air & Mechanical Systems, LLC, which has been serving the surrounding area for more than 15 years, has joined forces with One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning (One Hour), a national heating and air conditioning brand with independently owned and operated locations throughout North America. The company is now operating as One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning.

Owner Danny Baker is a Chattanooga native who has been working in the industry for 30 years.

His 15 employees and 10 branded One Hour trucks can be seen on the roads of north Georgia, Lookout and Signal Mountains, as well as Cleveland, Ooltewah and Chattanooga.

“It’s great to have Danny and his entire team as part of our national network,” said Mark Baker, president of Franchise, Direct Energy. “Their commitment to exceptional customer service is what sets them apart, and we look forward to working with them as they continue to serve the community.”

"One Hour is currently ranked No. 1 in the HVAC services category in Entrepreneur magazine’s Franchise 500 list. With this move, the local company will be able to continue training staff with best-in-class resources, provide stronger warranties and guarantees and lower product costs – just in time to prepare for the harsh winter months," officials said.

“This is a big step for our company’s future,” said Danny Baker. “Now, by being a One Hour, we have even more resources available to us that will benefit our customers and help us provide the best service we can offer.”

Mr. Baker has been married 26 years to his wife Kelli Gordon Baker, and they have three children: Dustin, Keaton and Kendyl.  "Danny and his employees contribute regularly to the communities they serve, with Danny as an active member of the Chattanooga Chamber and donations made to support Habitat for Humanity and St. Jude Children’s Hospital," officials said.
