Home Damaged By Kitchen Fire Friday Afternoon

The Chattanooga Fire Department responded to a kitchen fire at 3926 Laird Lane at 2 p.m. on Friday. 

 

Several companies responded to the reported address. Quint 16 was first on the scene and was able to extinguish the fire with a dry agent extinguisher before other companies arrived. The fire was reported under control and out by Captain Gordon at 2:09 p.m.  


No one was injured, but one person was evaluated by Hamilton County EMS as a precaution.

 

The cause of the fire is accidental.
