The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Athletics Department saw 13 student-athletes graduate at the 252nd Commencement Ceremony at McKenzie Arena today. This group was awarded 12 different degrees as they concluded their careers at UTC.
Highlighted in this group is the Southern Conference Football Defensive Player of the Year - Isaiah Mack - who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. Samantha Caswell, who balanced the rigors of a Nursing degree while earning All-SoCon Honors all four years of her career tennis career, also walked today.
All totaled, there are 11 who received at least one academic honor, six who won at least one SoCon title, and seven who were honored on an All-SoCon team. There were six from the football program, while track & field/cross country’s Richard Guiry (Business) and Haley Howell (Early Childhood Development) and volleyball’s Aly Ford (Criminal Justice) all graduated with honors.
