Danny Paul Stewart
Danny Paul Stewart, 62, of East Ridge, Tennessee, received his perfect healing on Sunday, December 16, 2018.
He was a member of The Crossing Church and had worked at several TVA Nuclear Power Plants across the valley, including his beloved Sequoyah Nuclear Plant. Danny Paul was a lover of fast cars and took meticulous care of them. He particularly enjoyed spending time with his family, his church, friends and co-workers.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Jennings Stewart and a brother, Kenneth Dale Stewart.
Survivors include his wife, Lynette Branum Stewart; children, Jennifer (Justin) Boyd, Kirby (Wes) Williams, Regan (Brent) Myers and Ramsey Stewart; five grandchildren, Connor and Kate Williams, Mylie and Lilla Boyd and Willa Mae Myers; mother, Inez Stewart; two sisters, Betty Elaine (Bob) Alsup and Jennie Annette Stewart; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 18, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, and from 12–2 p.m. on Wednesday at The Crossing Church, 7501 Standifer Gap Road.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at The Crossing Church with the Reverend Terry Harris, Paul Simmons and Kevin Wilkes officiating.
Burial will be on Thursday, Dec. 20, in New Union Cemetery in Smithville, Tn., following a visitation from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. at New Union Baptist Church, 360 Church Road in Smithville, Tn.
