Hicks, Joseph Anthony "Tony"

Joseph Anthony “Tony” Hicks, 61, of Chattanooga, passed away on December 17, 2018. He was a life-long resident of the North Georgia/Chattanooga area. Tony was a truck driver for 40 years and was always a very hard worker. He enjoyed automobiles and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle.

Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years, Kay Hicks; father, Joseph “Willie” Hicks; mother, Betty Hicks; daughter, Kasey Nicole (Michael) Davenport; brothers, James (Vickie) Hicks and David Hicks; grandchildren, Michael Davenport, Jr. and Mikasia Davenport; nieces, Amy (Allen) Morgan and Laura (Robert) Streets; great nieces, Courtney and Hope; great nephew, Chase (Rhionna) Morgan; great-great niece, Charlotte; many extended family members also survive.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Bill Gardner officiating.
