Shirley Lovelady
Shirley Ann Lovelady, 61, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, in a local hospital.
She was a 1975 graduate of Riverside High School. Shirley was a member of Ridgedale Church of Christ. She was employed by Memorial Hospital for many years.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Bessie Whiteside, Sr.; and husband, Anthony Lovelady, Sr.
Survivors include her son, Anthony Ray Lovelady, Jr.; daughter, April (Jason) Burke; two grandchildren, Arianna Lovelady and McKenzie Burke; brother, Henry (Shwanna) Whiteside, Jr.; sister, Valerie (William) McCleskey, all of Chattanooga; uncles, Floyd (Anita) Whiteside of Chattanooga and Dobbie (Oletta) Whiteside of Houston; aunts, Julia (Dave) Davis, Aneitha Thompson, both of Huntsville, and Leila Bell Woodley of Chattanooga; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Visitation is on Thursday, Dec. 27, from 6-7 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Friday, Dec. 28, at noon in the chapel with Pastor Floyd Whiteside as the eulogist.
Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
