Fannie Mae Seymour
Fannie Mae Seymour, 97, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2018.
She was a faithful member of White Oak United Methodist Church for 72 years, where she taught kindergarten for many years. She also worked for W. T. Grant Company in the office.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, O.L. “Jack” Seymour, her parents and all five of her brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her two sons, Jack (Kay) Seymour, and Ron (Cathy) Seymour; four grandchildren, Mark ( Darla) Seymour, Cindy and Doug Moore, Emily (Travis) Shears, and Katie (Freddy) Edgemon; as well as her seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Dec. 29, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. in the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Amy Nutt officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Mark Seymour, Sloan Seymour, Sawyer Seymour, Doug Moore, Jackson Moore, Travis Shears, and Freddy Edgemon.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Chattanooga or the Alzheimer’s Association.
