Brian P. Moller (1941-2018), 77, of Whitwell, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2018. Brian was born in September to Charles and Veronica Moller in Florence, Wi. After graduating Florence High School, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy. In 1962, Brian married Nancy Laymon in Jacksonville, Fl. They have three children. "Yank," as he was known by his coworkers, worked at Combustion Engineering (later ABB) for over 30 years.
Brian enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, working on cars, enjoying the mountain views from his swing and reminiscing about his high school and Navy days. Brian was a wonderful loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all.
Brian is survived by his beautiful wife of 56 years, Nancy; children, Brian Jr. (Susan) Moller, Duane (Tina) Moller and Sonia (Andy) Brown; grandchildren, Jake, Justin, Miranda, Tyler, Blake and Drew; great-grandchildren, Braedyn, Lindsay and Maverick; sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Veronica; brothers, Larry, Jerome, Ray, Kenny and Keith; and sisters, Mary and Veronica.
Memorial services will be on Friday, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. CDT at Ewton Funeral Home and Cremation Center, with Rev. Tom Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
