Close To 400 Residential Units Planned At Broad Street

Friday, December 7, 2018

Close to 400 residential units are part of a new mixed-use development planned at South Broad Street.

Chazen Engineering filed a zoning application for 15.6 acres owned by Chattanooga Christian School at W. 33rd St.

The property lies between two old rail lines and crosses over Williams Street.

A new greenway to Alton Park is set to be built along the former rail line by W. 33rd Street.

Parking will be along the still-active rail line to the north.

Townhouses will be part of the residential mix.

The application is to go from manufacturing zoning to UGC.
